Portrait nearly done!

Learning to post directly from my smartphone today!!!!

GHopefully,) l  will be able to post paintings in progress while on the move and at painting events this summer plus fun times in my classes.
Thistles afternoon I should be delivering a guitar pastel to the Rivers End Gallery in Waukesha AND PAINTING by the Clinton St Gallery...Tomorrow night I hope to paint in downtown Waukesha as well for GuitarTown celebration!

Portrait Development Project

 Here we see the under-painting in red iron oxide.

 Here we have the beginning of the the glazing of the colors.
Still some softening of values in the face especially the cheeks.  I like th way the painting is developing.   Notice the color studies for the flesh tones.
This has been a stunning project for me.
