Critique of Judith Reidy's Students' Exhibition Paintings

As my students instructor I should let you know something about myself.
I was fortunate to have had a qualified friend who  without solicitation kindly offered to critique the work for the benefit of all of you my students who have been interested in developing as artists or understanding the development of "right" thinking on art.  Follow the link at the bottom for the comments as promised at the reception.

Rhonda Simonson " Quiet Villa" in Art Instructor Judith Reidy's Students' Exhibition

This is an oil painting created by Ronda Simonson, one of my students.  Rhonda has been painting with me for little over a year. In this painting Rhonda was working with acrylic mediums to create a textured undersurface before she began painting with oils to finish the painting.

This is a must see painting, which will be on display at my students art exhibition at the Greenfield  Public Library near South 60th and Layton in February.

Kathy's Great still life Painting

Kathy has done a terrific job on her painting in  my class. One great lesson to learn is never be hyper critical of yourself.
